Rewrite the stars Pt 2

Time went on Adelian rarely saw Karen after their last encounter & it broke both their hearts as they tried to move on with their lives. As it was once said life is not what we desire it to be. Fair, however this does not mean impossible... Just Damn near it. Karen took a security position for a company after getting a degree in nursing & a clothing business. Her life was quite busy & made no time for socialising. She found it quite better, this way as to not have a suitor for herself. It was another grueling week & Karen was hard at work monitoring the lobby & top floor. They were short staff & they had no time for breaks between shifts. As Karen went about her business she was caught by surprise as a young woman was looking into the camera. why was she looking at the camera. It felt as if she was looking directly at Her through the screen. A door clicks open, snapping her out if it. She see her employees coming back from a short lunch & tells them to keep an eye out for the woman on screen. They looked confusingly, but no one was in the camera's view. She gives them a description & even blurted out that she was beautiful. Her team dismiss her odd behavior & begin to search the screens & repeat the description given over the walkie talkie's. Karen leaves in search of the mysterious & beautiful woman. Who was she?

Time was up. The building was closing & most of the patrons or business people had long left. Those that were allowed access to stay had the proper security badges to remain. The woman was never found. Perhaps she left. If she was up to no good, she might have been spooked away. To end the night after a long & odd one at that, Karen stood in line for a warm drink to sooth her thoughts & ease her body. The woman ahead of her slightly bugged her as she's pulled out an extra amount of cash whispering something to the barista. It was just wasn't enough to make out. The woman ahead of her turns away to leave & says something to Karen. "Non hai xiang chong xie xingxing ma?" She allows the woman to leave only to translate in her thoughts what she was told preparing to pay for her order & have her card refused. The barista told Karen, whatever her order would be was paid for in full. "Rewrite the stars?" She quickly ran after the woman who left. It was too late to realize it was the same woman. "Ms. Hello? Where are you? Adelian?!" Karen went back to the coffee shop to get what answers she could, while making her order. She fit the description, she saw through the camera once before & sure enough with their permission to review the camera it was the same woman. She had a face, but nothing else. She research through the morning taking the day off & went out to learn about her experience that night. Was it Adelian or was she that sleep deprived from the work hours...? Karen heard so much awful things in her life & even repeated them to herself at one point, but Karen did not want to call herself crazy. She let out a sigh & let the sun kiss her face. From the corner of her eye she saw someone staring at her & took her glasses off to get a better perspective. It was the same beautiful woman, but this time she approached her with a soft smile across her face. Karen was stunned by her beauty. "Adelian?-" The woman put a finger to Karen's lips. "You saw the Angel in me. My wings were bound to the point of achenes. My only regret was not being strong enough to let you see me spread my wings to be with you." Tears were building in karen's eyes. The woman kissed Karen softly on her lips as flashes of a young man filled her mind. They shared a kiss once. It felt exactly the same as it did back then. As their lips pull away a new image took her place in Karen's mind. The woman holds back her tears.

"🎶Is it impossible? Say that it's possible. Say that the world can be ours... Tonight.🎶"

Karen looks into the eyes of this beautiful woman she calls an Angel & both hug one another as if there was no tomorrow.
